Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expressed delight with the manner of yesterday’s 3-2 FA Cup victory against Liverpool.
United – once again – came from 1-0 down to win the fourth round tie.
Solskjaer declared afterwards, “We can look at the difference from one year ago – and six months back. You can not take too many big steps at once, but step by step we get better and better, and win close matches. The morale and self-confidence are of course very good.
“We have found a way that both we and the players believe in, and we are getting stronger and stronger. We have a strength in coming back from 1-0 to the opponent. We have shown it so many times this season. Physically, we have become stronger and stronger and are thus used to giving more towards the end of the matches.
