Tottenham are set to retain the services of Harry Kane this summer.
The Sun reports that Kane is primed to stay at Tottenham this summer with the club reportedly hell-bent on not willing to sell him to a Premier League rival while demanding an eye-watering £175million from foreign suitors.
The England international, 27, was tipped for a move away from Spurs this summer and had drawn interest from big clubs like Manchester City, United and Real Madrid.
Nevertheless, Tottenham will block any offer for Kane from another Premier League club while Madrid and any other potential suitor are being told they’ll need to stump up £175m to sign their star striker.
Kane’s loyalty to his boyhood club is unquestionable but he knows he might have to leave them in order to win the trophies his talent deserves, having so far failed to win a single piece of silverware in his career.
He still has three years left on the £200,000-a-week mega contract he signed back in the summer of 2018.
Tottenham do not want to lose Kane, who is their top scorer this season with 22 goals and 15 assists in all competitions, and will dig their heels in a bid to make sure he stays at the club for next season.
