Tottenham are eyeing a summer bid for Sevilla defender Diego Carlos.
La Razon reports that Tottenham are hoping to sign Sevilla’s Carlos in the transfer window.
The problem for Tottenham is his release clause – set at £64million.
Nevertheless, Tottenham may well be able to negotiate to being done that fee due to Sevilla’s interest in Colombia ace, Davinson Sanchez.
Reports suggest that Sevilla may well be interested in negotiating the fee for Carlos with the hope of landing Sanchez.
The La Liga club also have concerns that Frenchman, Jules Kounde could leave this summer, who is attracting attention from Manchester United and other clubs around Europe.
Should Kounde leave, then Sanchez appears to be Sevilla’s No 1 option and Totttenham may well use that to their advantage in also trying to prise Carlos away.
