Tochukwu Michael has hailed his Nasarawa United teammate Uche Ihuarulam as a ‘top striker’.
The frontman scored a goal on his debut in their 2-1 edge over Lobi Stars, with Tochukwu also featuring in the entire duration of the win.
Tochukwu said about Ihuarulam on while speaking with Lodgexpress after the game:
“He is so fantastic as a player and a center forward.
“He is a top lad, and as a person, he is a strong character as well. He’s been through alot since coming here and I’m so delighted he got on the scoresheet.
“I’m really pleased to have him in our squad. We all knew that Ihu is a great player, and, beyond the many goals he will net this season, I think he really deserved his debut goal as he has worked for the service of the team, with great sense of humility,” said Tochukwu.
Ihuarulam joined Nasarawa United from Warri Wolves back in October but had to wait three months later to make his first appearance after being involved in a road accident that left him badly bruised.
He will be fit and ready for their matchday 7 clash with Plateau United. They currently sit 9th on the log with same number of points as their next opponent, Plateau United who are placed 8th.
