Liverpool hero Graeme Souness feels Jurgen Klopp’s squad needs a overhaul.
The players who risks being axed are Divock Origi, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The trio have hugely fallen down the pecking order at Anfield, with attackers Origi and Shaqiri having their performances criticised on more than one occasion this season.
“They’ve got nothing up front,” announced Souness after Klopp picked the duo against West Ham. “I’m sorry, Origi and Shaqiri [aren’t good enough].
“[Mohamed] Salah’s up there on his own. We’re used to Mane taking people on, Firmino sliding clever balls in.
“What you’re getting is what I expected from the other two – not a lot.”
Meanwhile, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been plagued with injuries this term and has featured just 12 times in all competitions.
The Independent reports that more players are expected to leave in the clear-out but Origi, Shaqiri and Oxlade-Chamberlain are likely to be the biggest names.
