Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is confident that the addition of Belgium international, Romelu Lukaku will complement his existing frontline.
The Blues are set to secure the services of Inter Milan forward Lukaku for £98m and his signing will come as a relief to Tuchel who’s side struggled in front of goal last term – despite their Champions League triumph.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Tuchel said: “He (Lukaku) has the kind of profile which likes to play with his back towards the opponent’s goal, who likes to hold the ball up, create space for Kai Havertz, for Timo Werner and for Christian Pulisic.
“He is the kind of profile we don’t have in our squad right now, that we are looking for if it’s possible to sign.
“If it’s not possible to sign the player, we will find other solutions as it’s still not the moment to talk about names because we have nobody signed yet.”
