Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes has said he will commit to signing a new contract with Manchester United – if Paul Pogba pens an extension.
Fernandes enjoys playing for Manchester United and wants to win big trophies with the club.
United brought in the 26-year-old in early March over a new five-year contract worth £200,000 a week.
But Fernandes has said at the time that he wanted to wait and see what the club’s ambitions were in the transfer market his summer, with the likes of Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho linked with the club.
Now the talented playmaker wants assurances over Pogba’s future as well, according to The Sun.
The relationship between Pogba and Fernandes has flourished in recent weeks.
The latter stated this week that Pogba made him a better player and that the pair could do ‘much better together’.
It remains to be seen whether France star Pogba feels the same.
The World Cup winner is out of contract in 2022, but there have been varying reports about what he wants to do with his future.
Juventus and Real Madrid have long been linked with the 28-year-old.
