Saidu Adamu was grateful after making his first Rangers International start since joining the club this summer from FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
The midfielder was lively all through his stay on the pitch in the Flying Antelope’s 3-0 league win at Heartland Football Club in Owerri on Friday evening as Abdul Maikaba handed him his first start since arriving last year.

In the wake of the victory, and his contribution, Saidu made his reaction while speaking with Lodgexpress, he said;
“We arrived at the town, saw the opponents and conquered them at the end, it’s a great way to win a derby. I’m very happy and satisfied because our attitude was good, we played well and we were physically strong.
“It’s my first start here and I enjoy every bit of the moment. I hope to remain fit and enjoy more game time.”
Following the win and results from other venues, Rangers now occupy the third spot on the log with 14 points from 7 games so far and only three points separates them from table toppers Remo Stars.
