Serie A giants, Juventus have relegated superstar forward, Cristiano Ronaldo to a minor role in merchandise promotion this summer
The likes of Matthijs De Ligt, Rodrigo Bentancur, Weston McKennie and Paulo Dybala have been selected to take prominence for the campaign which is designed to boost sales of their new jersies.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has taken a backseat, despite his global profile and popularity.
The Daily Mail says it’s a sure sign the Portuguese’s future at the club is in doubt, with much of the onus on the other players to bring in the sales.
Ronaldo is being linked with a move away this summer with Juve battling to balance the books.
