Kazie Enyinnaya has urged his teammates to always kill the game in the opening stages after their 0-0 draw with Gombe United on Sunday.
The Pride of Rivers, who won their last away game in the league against Kano Pillars, had some shots on the afternoon and a number of clear cut chances that they failed to convert.
Kazie, an exciting prospect who is continually growing in stature with a prolonged run in the first team, continually exploited Gombe United down the right flank, registering 3 key passes and whipping in 4 crosses.
He told Lodgexpress.com after the game; “It’s not a bad result. We controlled the game from the onset till the final whistle and so should have won it comfortably.
“We have got to make sure we don’t give goals away first and foremost.
“On the afternoon in Gombe, the scoresheet could have been three or four. The performance was decent but not enough to win the game.
“I thought we defended well for the majority of the game. But we have to finish the game off and be more ruthless.”
