Rangers International goalkeeper Bamidele Adeniyi was happy with his clean sheet for their 0-0 draw at Dakkada on Sunday.
Adeniyi, who produced two breathtaking fingertip saves during the course of the game, said a draw was a good result against a Dakkada side that is fighting for NPFL survival.
The Flying Antelopes’ stopper told Lodgexpress.com: “Personally I’ll say we had a good game in Benin. Dakkada are a difficult team and they were playing at home (of course a neutral ground) so it was perfect to keep a clean sheet.
“The point is important for the team and I believe we defended very well.
“We had most of the possession especially in the first half and two or three chances to have scored.
“It was the same in the second half but in general I think it was a great point for the team.”
The goalkeeper has now kept six cleansheets in 9 appearances so far this season and will be in line to continue his impressive form on Wednesday when they welcome Plateau United.
