Rangers International Football Club have included playmaker Shedrack Asiegbu in their squad for Saturday’s game with Kano Pillars.
Asiegbu was diagnosed with malaria after their return from Wikki Tourists trip two weeks ago which saw him miss out on two Rangers games including their 1-0 win over Nasarawa United on Monday.
Despite Asiegbu being fit again, manager Maikaba might chose to start the playmaker from the bench according to a statement from one of the club officials.
“For Asiegbu to play today from the start, no I don’t really think so. Maybe on the bench,” he said.
“He’s been training the last few weeks, he’s excited and motivated. It’s so good to have him in the rest of the group.”
