Rangers International Football Club striker, Eboko Ikechukwu scored a 45th minute goal as the Flying Antelopes got held to a 1-1 draw with Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Wednesday night.
The striker who arrived this summer was named in the starting lineup and he repaid his boss’ faith with a well taken shot just before half-time. Chinedu Enuademu leveled the tie for the hosts barely twelve minutes into the second half to seal the scoreline at 1-1.
Eboko was simply an unstoppable force at the Lekan Salami Stadium all evening before coming off for Christian Nnaji in the 53rd minutes following a knock.
Constantly creating chances for his side, Eboko had a colossal 6 dribbles, registered a goal and nearly scored twice during the encounter.
Rangers will hope that his injury isn’t a serious one as his presence will really be useful in Nnewi when they welcome Gombe United to Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium this Sunday.
