Juventus boss Max Allegri has admitted that France midfielder Paul Pogba angered him by speaking back during the final whistle of their victory over Atalanta.
Allegri had criticised Pogba late on as Juventus were trying to play out the game and protect their lead.
Following the victory, the coach explained their heated exchange.
“Pogba doesn’t have to lose those balls. (Dusan) Vlahovic did very well when he entered,” said Allegri.
“Paul said, ‘Mister calm’ but there is little to stay calm about: those balls must be kept.”
