Manchester United star, Paul Pogba is not in a rush to extend his contract with at Old Trafford.
United opened their PL campaign with a 5-1 thrashing of Leeds United with Pogba setting up four assists, a performance which stir up their determination to re-sign the Frenchman.
PSG have shelved plans to sign Pogba this summer, but they remain confident of signing the Frenchman next summer as he enters the final year of his contract.
United want the 28-year-old to sign a long-term extension as soon as possible, per the Daily Mail.
The new deal would run for a minimum of four extra years and would see a significant increase on his £290,000-a-week contract.
It is believed Pogba has no intention of signing the extension before the transfer window shuts.
However, that doesn’t mean he has ruled out staying at Old Trafford.
The World Cup winner is optimistic about the direction in which the club are headed under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Pogba has been impressed with United’s activity this summer, signing his France teammate Raphael Varane and England winger Jadon Sancho.
