Rivers United right-back, Kazie Enyinnaya was pleased with their performance from Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Niger Tornadoes in the Nigeria topflight League.
The Pride of Rivers were unable to capitalise on the chance to leapfrog Remo Stars on the log after amassing a total of 9 points from the last available 15 in five matches, to settle at second on the log, with two points separating them from first placed Remo Stars.
Post-match, Kazie Enyinnaya offered his reaction of how important the one point is to the team, when speaking to Lodgexpress.com.
“It was a well earned draw. We planned on getting the maximum points but had to settle with a single one.
“We now have to return home and continue pushing and stay focused while chasing our targets this season.”
They welcome 5th placed side, Kwara United at home this Sunday before travelling to Lagos to take on MFM FC three days later.
