Ex Leicester City center-back Caglar Soyuncu has signed for Atletico Madrid on a four-year deal.
The Turkish international has decided to move on from the King Power Stadium club following its relegation.
The Foxes were unable to make profit from the deal ad Soyuncu was already out of contract.
After featuring 132 times since joining back in 2018 from Freiburg, Soyuncu felt he was no longer valued at Leicester.
He lost his position for large swaths of last season under Brendan Rodgers, regardless of the club conceding goals at an alarming rate.
He will now get the chance to link up with Diego Simeone at Atleti, who is recognised for getting the best out of defenders.
