Nigerian footballer and ASC Kara’s playmaker Kalu Okechukwu was happy with his performance in their victory over AC Semassi in the Togolese top-flight division.
The gifted left-footed playmaker scored a superb goal and also provided an assist for his side as they earned a 3-0 win at home on Sunday, January 16.
“I only want to help the team win,” he told Lodgexpress.
“I’m delighted I was able to score a goal and help the team end the halftime with some level of confidence.
“It’s not every day I score and assist. It’s good for my personal confidence, but the main thing that delights me is the fact that it helped the team grab the win.”
“Each time I appear on the pitch I just want to play free and attack as much as I can and hopefully assist and score.
“I managed to do that today and it was really good but I think the most important thing is to just keep improving and that’s what I’ll look to do in the next couple of games.”
Their next game comes up this Sunday and it’s an away fixture against Sara Sport.
