Newcastle United have been informed they may not have an easy time securing the services of Arsenal’s Joe Willock on a permanent deal this summer.
The English midfielder has shone in recent weeks, scoring many crucial goals to help his side build a gap between themselves and the relegation spot.
Newcastle look certain to have secured their Premier League status for another year.
And according to The Mirror, if Toon want to bring Willock back to the club next term, when his loan from Arsenal expires, they will have to pay an ever increasing fee.
The 21-year-old is seeing his value increase with each valuable goal he scores.
Willock has scored four crucial goals for Newcastle since joining them in January, including a 95th minute equaliser against Liverpool last weekend.
Arsenal currently rate Willock at £20m, but they could decide to keep him at the Emirates if he continues to prove himself on Tyneside.
