Nasarawa United powerhouse Charles Eguavon is delighted to be back in action.
Eguavon returned to action more than two weeks after his injury in their fixture 8 match against Katsina United and featured for 70 minutes in their 1-1 draw against Sunshine Stars before coming off for superkid Shammasu Mohammad.
He told Lodgexpress.com;
“I’m delighted to be back, but now I need to work on the day-to-day routine and repay the manager’s trust which he’s shown in me. For me, the most important thing here is helping the team in every game that I feature. I am very grateful to the club, the officials and the supporters for the trust they’ve shown in me since I arrived here this season.
“I’m delighted that I am back in action, but on the other hand I must say I’m frustrated because we needed to win. The team was keen on getting a victory.”
Their next game comes up this Thursday and it’s a midweek trip to Rangers International Football Club in Nnewi.
