Nasarawa United handed attacking boost as Uche Ihuarulam returns to full training

Nasarawa United head coach Nikyu Bala has been handed a huge boost going into their matchday five fixture against Dakkada Football Club as summer business, Uche Ihuarulam returns to full training following an accident injury he suffered last year.

The ex Warri Wolves talisman is yet to make his debut for the Solid Miners and was spotted watching from the stands during their 2-0 win over Akwa United on Sunday.

Ihuarulam is a known “natural goal scorer” and a forward with the “ability to bag a goal from nothing”. He can hold up the ball well due to his high strength and is able to play off the shoulder of the last man.

Being a “Fox inside the box”, Ihuarulam is frequently labeled as a “pure finisher”, often playing as a traditional “number 9” and capitalizing on less amount of chances than the typical goal scorer.

His accurate and powerful strikes are highly noticeable throughout his games regardless of distance and/or positions, and he is also known to have a tendency to take chip and curved shots.

Ihuarulam controls a well-balanced pace, which helps him maintain his stamina and allows him to often drive past other players in the most critical 50/50 moments.

The fans of Nasarawa United are looking forward to seeing the strike partnership between Uche Ihuarulam, Chijioke Alaekwe and Silas Nwankwo as they play Dakkada Football Club in Uyo in matchday five.
