Rivers United playmaker, Morice Chukwu has slammed the behaviors of Niger Tornadoes players on match officials following their barren draw at Kwara Sports Complex over the weekend during their matchday five clash.
Morice guided his side to a vital away point but later expressed his disappointments over the reactions of Niger Tornadoes players on the match officials after they conceived that their decisions were not favorable to them.
“It was a show of shame on their path and no level of anger should warrant players to go up against the match officials.
“It’s disheartening that we still witness ugly incidence of such magnitude in our league. He has told Lodgexpress.
“Just last week, it was the same thing at Dakkada against Remo and we all thought everyone would learn from the punishment.
“I totally condemn their actions on the match officials and wish that we will never see such scenarios anymore”.
Following the result after matchday five, Rivers United now sit second on the Nigeria topflight division with 9 points from five games while Niger Tornadoes occupy the 19th position with 5 points from 5 games played so far this season
