Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admits his summer spending will be impacted by where they finish on the Premier League table.
The north Londoners are currently mid-table, but will hope to put together a good run of results to get a Europa League or Champions League spot.
They are also currently in the Europa League, and winning that competition would give them a Champions League spot for next term.
Arteta, when asked about summer dealings, he told reporters: “We will see. We are planning what’s going to happen in the summer.
“It will depend on where we finish, how we finish. I think what we had to in December is unprecedented for a club of this stature.
“To do the amount of transactions that we had to make it tells you as well where we are. I think it was very much needed and you want to improve, you want to do that.
