Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has said it may not be the last time Mason Mount Will captain his team.
Mount was the surprise skipper as the Blues smash three past Luton in the FA Cup fourth round.
Tammy Abraham bagged a hat trick, helping the Blues to a much needed victory.
Mount is just 22 and became the youngest player to lead the club since John Terry at 21.
“I only told him quickly in the dressing room because the armband was already hanging on his shirt, so I saw him clock it. I went over to him and I kept it brief,” Lampard told the club’s website.
“Listen, he deserves it. He is playing like a captain and he played like a captain recently and all season. He loves Chelsea and came through the academy.
