Marcus Rashford converted a goal from the penalty spot as England recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over Romania on Sunday.
The Three Lions had a couple of clear chances in the first-half as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jadon Sancho both saw their efforts hit the woodwork.
But it took until 68 minutes for the Three Lions to score after Jack Grealish was fouled in the box by Tiberiu Capusa.
Wearing the captain’s armband, Rashford stepped up to convert from 12 yards out.
West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone won his first cap for England and impressed, denying Andre Ivan with a fantastic reaction save.
Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson, who got a run out as a late substitute, had a penalty saved by keeper Florin Nita after Calvert-Lewin was fouled by Vlad Chiriches.
