Manchester United have been given a boost in their bid to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
The English Superkid is not having the best times at the German club this season, but United will press ahead with plans to land him in the summer.
According to reports from Bild, Dortmund may have identified Monaco star Sofiane Diop as Sancho’s alternative replacement.
The 20-year-old has featured 21 times and has scored six goals for the French club this term.
Should nSancho depart, Diop is the one Dortmund would target to replace him.
Man City youngster Jayden Braaf and Donyell Malen of Ajax are also being considered.
