Manchester United are hopeful of tieing Paul Pogba to a new contract.
Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent, revealed back in December that his time at the club was ‘over’.
And the timing of the disclosure was called into question as it came on the eve of a crucial Champions League game against German side RB Leipzig.
Since then till now, Pogba’s form has drastically improved and he has played a crucial role in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side surging up the Premier League table.
Another injury setback has now left him sidelined as talk of his future rumbles on.
ESPN reports that United ‘haven’t given up hope’ of putting pen to paper to extend his contract beyond 2022.
Pogba has bagged four goals in 28 games for Man Utd so far this season.
