Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag insists youngster Facundo Pellistri has a future at the club.
The Uruguayan winger finally made his competitive debut for the club after coming on as a substitute in the Carabao Cup.
Pellistri was introduced during the 3-0 win over Charlton Athletic in the quarter finals on Tuesday at Old Trafford.
“I see a future in him and he is doing really well and we have to see what is the best,” Ten Hag said about Pellistri when asked if he could go out on loan by reporters.
“He’s progressing, also against Everton (in the behind-closed-doors game) I was really happy with his performance, I was happy with his performance in the World Cup, his progress is really good.
“He’s come on and had an effect so that’s the next step. I say well done, better, and keep going.”
