Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku is pleased with the reception he was given by Inter fans this summer.
Lukaku secured a return to Inter on-loan from Chelsea, though his season has been plagued by injury.
“The Inter fans are really special fans, the best I have seen in the world. They are always there to help the team even in difficult moments,” Lukaku declared.
“I was surprised, I thought they were still angry, but I think a lot of people know that I have always had Inter in my heart, even though I left.
“I spoke with my team-mates and the club, explaining to them the reasons why I had left. I came back and I want to stay also in the future, this means that for me Inter is everything.
“Everyone knows that. Now the team and I have to lead the club to success and then we’ll talk.”
