Ex AC Milan boss Alberto Zaccheroni has said Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku is capable of winning the Ballon d’Or.
The Belgian striker has fired Inter to the top of the table this season with 18 goals.
“I think it should be awarded to a player who shifts the balance, both technically and physically. These are the most important characteristics,” Zaccheroni, a former Inter, Milan and Juventus coach, told Tuttosport.
“Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins the Ballon d’Or.
“He’s been doing extraordinary things since he joined Inter. In Italy there isn’t a player who shifts the balance as he does.
“Maybe the other one is Kessié, he is unstoppable when he takes the ball and defends it.”
