Rivers United defender Kazie Enyinnaya is delighted with the way he has started the season.
Kazie was outstandingly brilliant at right-back for United’s victory over Rangers last week.
He told Lodgexpress.com during his pre-game press conference: “I want to play more games than I did last season. I played a good number last term but hopefully I can continue improving on every matchdays.
“My consistent playing time this season is great for my confidence. There’s always a pressure here and a drive to win especially now that we’re on top of the league and I think a lot of the players, including myself, will rise to that and make sure we end the season on a very high note.
“I think when you do manage to put in good crosses and create goalscoring chances, it does give you confidence,” he added.
Rivers United sits on top of the NPFL standing with 29 points from 14 games and are just one point adrift second placed side, Plateau United.
