Kazie Enyinnaya has hailed the work ethic of Rivers United teammate Ebube Duru.
Ebube scored and provided an assist in their 3-0 victory at home over Wikki Tourists on Saturday.
And Kazie has now revealed how hard the Nigerian ace has been working to turn himself into a goal threat in attack.
He told Lodgexpress.com: “Ebube is doing everything to try and improve in front of goal and after our regular training sessions he often stays behind with me, trying to score goals from set-pieces.
“I’m glad it is working because he has scored some nice goals and has mastered the art of set-pieces which is why he’s undoubtedly one of the best left-backs in Nigeria.
“Ebube is the best left-back in the Nigeria Professional Football League. He has pace, goes up and down a lot, creates space and has a very good understanding with the attakers.
“I’m glad he’s with us. In training he is a winner, a competitor and now he is always trying to go forward.”
Rivers United returned to the top of the table after the victory as Remo Stars suffered a 1-0 loss at Gombe United.
