West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen believes on-loan attacker Jesse Lingard has been a ‘breath of fresh air’ for the team.
Lingard joined West Ham on loan from Manchester United in January and shown the best form of his career.
He has six goals and four assists in eight matches for West Ham, and has been touted as a possible permanent signing in the summer.
“You can see his talent since the first day he came in and it’s no surprise that he’s scoring goals and setting up goals for the team,” Bowen told the club’s website of his teammate.
“He’s been a real breath of fresh air for this massively important run-in.
“We all want to stay at this level and where we’re at in the league right now. We’ve got eight games left and they’re all massive games for us to go out there and achieve something special.”
