Gombe United have knocked back an approach from Akwa United for Abdulazeez Yusuf.
Yusuf has been scoring goals for fun with Gombe United this season and Akwa United had wanted to sign him to boost their attack.
But Gombe United board see the forward as an important asset for the club and refused to consider parting with their top scorer.
Yusuf has so far scored 8 goals this term.
