Ex Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has said he’d love to work with Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
Scolari who’s currently without a club, said that managing Leo Messi would be one of his great hopes.
“Coaching Messi would give me more joy than all the titles I have earned as a coach,” Scolari told Super Deportivo Radio. The truth is he doesn’t seem likely to ever get the chance.
Scolari also would like to see Messi play with his Brazilian compatriot Neymar once again.
“I would like to see them together, but not at Barcelona. I would like it at PSG,” said Scolari. “It would be hard for other teams to contain that pair. There wouldn’t be a game in which PSG didn’t score. They are two genius.”
Despite managing top players he said that the Argentine duo of Diego Maradona and Messi are the player he would most have liked to coach.
“I always say my outstanding accounts were to coach Maradona and Messi. I would have liked to share experiences with Maradona, beyond the fact I’ve been able to catch big players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldo or Figo, who were fantastic.”
