A move outside Spain is likely for the Spaniard and Premier League duo Leeds and Everton are being mentioned as potential suitors.
Lucas on his own would like to settle his future by March, so suggesting a willingness to immediately enter pre-contract talks with foreign clubs.
In Italy, Serie A giants, Napoli and AC Milan are also keen on the experienced attacker.
