Everton have turned down the possibility of signing Harry Winks this summer.
The Tottenham midfielder is available for transfer or loan, as he is not in manager Antonio Conte’s plans.
According to The Times, the Toffees did run the rule over Winks, but manager Frank Lampard decided against making a move.
A move was seen as possible at one stage this sumer, but Lampard turned it down.
He would much prefer to bring Idrissa Gueye back to the club from Paris Saint-Germain.
That deal was thought to be dead, but is now being resurrected, per the source.
