Alaekwe celebrate scoring against Niger Tornadoes
Alaekwe had not scored an NPFL goal since the start of the season, before he sealed a 22-minute winner in their’s 1-0 win over Niger Tornadoes on Monday.
“The offensive side of the team on Monday was great all through the entire duration,” Eguavon said at Friday interview.
“Each matchday, we play better than the other. But if we talk about Alaekwe, he is young and very dangerous to play against. He might not have started the season on a goalscoring note but he’s always been involved in the build-up play to lots of our goals. Now he is 100 percent.

“It’s always a huge boost having him around. Strikers live for scoring. Alaekwe is always a scoring player and wants to add more tally this season. All we need to do at this point is to support him with the chances to score more.”
Nasarawa United will be in action later today, Saturday, for an encounter with Rivers United in matchday 15 fixtures.
