MFM FC utility star, Christian Molokwo has reacted following their 2-1 win at home against Abia Warriors in matchday five.
Playmaker, Muyiwa Balogun opened the scoring for the Olukoya Boys on the stroke of halftime before Oludayo Alabi look to have secured their winning in his first touch after coming on as a substitute in the 61st minutes.
Abia Warriors came roaring back in the 84th minutes thanks to a goal from Godwin Obaje to make it 2-1, a scoreline that would go on to separate both sides in regulation time.
“Personally I’ll say I had a fantastic game today despite the fact that I didn’t get on the scoresheet, we won at the end and that’s what is really important, so I give God all thanks for the victory”. Molokwu told Lodgexpress during a post-game interview.
He scored during his last meeting with Abia Warriors while he was at FC Ifeanyi Ubah and was energetic from the right flank all evening.
“I was delighted with the performance of the team because after we lost at Wikki Tourists, we really needed to get back to winning ways and we did exactly that today.
“We are now channelling our focus, attention and energy towards Rangers and will give them a very good fight in Nnewi.” He added.
Molokwu will return to the Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, the adopted ground of Rangers International Football Club for this season, for their matchday six fixture.
They currently sit 14th on the log with 6 points from 5 matches while their next opponent are 4th with 8 points from same number of games.
