Chelsea and Liverpool have been put on high alert, following the news that French winger Kingsley Coman is unlikely to renew his contract with Bayern Munich.
Coman, 24, who got the winner in the Champions League final two seasons ago, has lifted the league title in every year as a senior professional.
According to ex-Bayern and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Nerlinger, Coman is close to the exit door at Bayern.
“I don’t think he will stay in Munich. Bayern had a recent tendency to lose players for free,” Nerlinger stated, per Bild TV.
“But you can’t do that in the long run, you have to sell players from time to time if the offer is right.
“Coman is an excellent player, but given the situation, I think Bayern will consider selling him.”
