Chelsea boss Graham Potter has spoken about the fitness of midfielder N’Golo Kante.
The under fire manager admits he will be taking it slow with the Frenchman, who has missed most of this season through injury.
He also commented on loanee Joao Felix, who is at the club from Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.
On Kante, he stated to reporters: “It’s a complex one with him because he has had a long time out. It’ll be a case of how we get him back up to speed to play Premier League or Champions League football. He won’t be able to go back in for 90 minutes any time soon but the fact he is with us is exciting.”
He added on Felix: “Providing he isn’t tackling anyone on the halfway line, we’re happy with him! His quality is clear. He makes things happen from an attacking perspective, has hit the bar twice and had other chances. The fact he can play in many positions is good. We’ve used him more centrally but he can play anywhere in the attacking phase of the game.”
