Bendel Insurance playmaker Divine Nwachukwu is honoured to have been called into the full Nigeria squad for this month’s AFCON qualifiers against Sierra Leone.

The 20-year-old is included in the senior squad for the first time, 5 months after making his debut in the Nigeria Premier Football League with the Benin Arsenal.
“I’m really pleased,” Nwachukwu who has represented the country at the youth level told Lodgexpress official website.
“Every football player dreams of playing for his or her country and it would be a great honour and a proud moment for me, my family, the club and everyone around me.
“I’m grateful that the Super Eagles have been keeping tabs on me, and it’s a nice reward to get called up.
“It will be a great experience being around the senior squad, and it’s another opportunity for me to learn from really good players.”
