Barcelona manager Xavi has again thrown the door open to Lionel Messi returning from PSG.
Messi spent the entirety of his career at Camp Nou until his move to PSG in the summer of 2021. Ever since then, he has been repeatedly linked with a return back to the Blaugrana.
“This is his home and the doors are open to him. There is no doubt about it. He is a friend, we are in permanent contact. It will depend a lot on him, on what he wants to do in his future, on what the club wants to do as well,” Xavi told the press ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash with Manchester United.
Asked if Leo would fit into the current team, Xavi made it clear: “He is the best in the world and in history, he would always fit in.
