Germany centerback Antonio Rudiger will not face any disciplinary sanction from UEFA after he looked to have taken a nibble out of French star Paul Pogba’s back.
Pogba and Rudiger had a small altercation during the course of the game on Tuesday, which France won 1-0.
Pogba was unhappy at the time of the altercation, but he later defended Rudiger when asked about the incident by reporters post-game.
According to the Independent, a UEFA disciplinary body looked at the match official reports and decided there was no case to answer for the Chelsea defender.
Rudiger is free to take part in Germany’s upcoming games in the tournament.
