MFM FC midfielder, Aminu Azeez has called on his teammates to finish off the season strongly despite a tough start that have seen them sit at the bottom of the table.
The Olukoya Boys have Heartland as their next opponent before the end of first round of the season as they aim to move out of relegation zone.
Speaking with Lodgexpress.com after their draw at Nasarawa United on Sunday, Aminu said: “Now we have one away game before the end of the first round of the season and a win can go a long way of firing us out of the relegation zone.
“Our weekend’s opponents, Heartland are also in the drop zone this season and are still fighting to avoid relegation, so that gives us an idea of how tough the game this weekend is going to be.
“We will try to get three points that allow us to secure a safe spot, regardless of any other scores.”
