Akwa United could seal a stunning deal to re-sign their former playmaker, Williams Ukeme from Gombe United before the close of this transfer window.
Ukeme since leaving Akwa United, has turned himself into a complete midfielder every team would wish to have.
He shone superbly in front of Akwa United hierarchy during their 1-0 win over Dakkada in Uyo and could return to the defending champions to prove himself before his hometown supporters.
No official bid has been tabled by Akwa United at the moment but a move could still happen before the end of the transfer window.
