Kwara United goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka insists there are positives from their stalemate with Shooting Stars on Thursday.
The 0-0 result was not enough to shoot the Illorin outfit to the top three of the NPFL Group A standing but it did bring them level with their matchday 2 opponents (Shooting Stars) and Adeyinka took comfort in that.

The Super Eagles goalkeeper was back to his best against 3SC, proving why he belongs in the star-studded Kwara United line-up.
In total he made about 6 saves, with three of them being terrific reflex stops to deny the imposing Shooting Stars players especially from corners and set-pieces.
“I think we can say we deserved to win the game,” he told Lodgexpress official website. “There were chances at both ends but we were the ones that left the pitch with much satisfaction.
“It was a scrappy intense battle between two clubs from the same region and the atmosphere was really superb especially from fans of both clubs. We were left frustrated not to have won and it’s our second draw so far. We have to respond as quickly as we play the next game in front of our fans. We have to forget the last home result and move on.
“The standing in the Nigeria Premier Football League can change in a matter of weeks. And that is what we have to control. We have to ensure if we are not winning then we are not losing. We did that against Shooting and we have to take that as a positive.”
