Injured Abia Warriors defender, Ekemini Ekereuke has expressed delight with the performances of his teammate Nweke Kalu following dazzling performance in Wednesday’s 3-0 win over Wikki Tourists.
While Ekereuke is preparing to make a sensational return from an ankle problem, his fellow new signing Kalu has never let his manager down in the games he’s been featured so far.
And there was no different against Wikki Tourists in matchday 10, with Nweke running the show in midfield.
“The best thing is the credit he gets from all of us, Kalu is an exceptional player,” Ekereuke told Lodgexpress.com about Kalu after the 3-0 win.
“He he aware of how fantastic he has to perform because there are lots of players gunning to be in that position.
“It was an outstanding display from Kalu today and I hope he continues in this fashion against Nasarawa United on Sunday.”
Ekereuke is currently serving his time at the sideline and yet to play his first game for the club he joined on a Bosman deal from Akwa United after helping them clinch the league title last season.
