Sunshine Stars striker Nwogbaga Ebonam has drawn some positives out of their NPFL matchday 10 loss to Katsina United.
But Ebonam who lasted for 76 minutes during the game, was encouraged by an excellent attacking performance from his teammates, which saw them out create and out shoot Katsina United, only to get nothing from the game.
“I think we have quality players who have the burning desire, players who are ready to run and play for the Club,” he told Lodgexpress.com.
“Every week we’re getting better and better. We lose maybe 1-0 at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, with young lads also playing, it’s good for them, it’s good for everyone and it’s good for the Club and for the future.
“Well I’ll say, I’m disappointed because I’m a competitor who always want to go further, but I think we can learn a lot from this loss we become a better team and hopefully we can get positive results as the season progresses.”
