Nasarawa United midfielder Tochukwu Michael made a positive impact for his side, despite them losing against Plateau United in matchday 7.
The Solid Miners were beaten 3-2 by a bright Jos side, thanks to goals from Katoh Haggai, Jidima Akila and Mohamed Zulkilful.
While talisman, Uche Ihuarulam got an half-time equalizer for the visitors, Tochukwu was one of the standout players for Nasarawa United on the evening, as he ran the show in midfield and made several impressive passes.
He was also on hand to score a penalty that reduced the deficit to just one goal in the 87th minute.
In his seven appearances this season, Tochukwu has netted three times and further assisted once, making it a total of four goals involvement in seven matches.
He will be fit for their matchday 8 clash later this weekend against Katsina United and hope to continue his impressive run on form for the Lafia outfit.
